Paper Summary

The study looked at the types of trees in urban, transitional, and rural areas near Bengaluru, India. Using satellite images, researchers found 82 different tree species in the studied plots, with 21 species found in all three areas. The number of tree species decreased as they moved from urban to rural areas, but the distribution of species was fairly even across all areas.
