Organic-Inorganic Combo Boosts Baby Corn Yields, Transforming Smallholder Livelihoods
The study looked at how different types of plant nutrients affect the growth and yield of baby corn. They tested various combinations of chemical fertilizers and organic manures in a field experiment. The results showed that using a mix of organic manures and inorganic fertilizer led to the best growth and yield of baby corn. Specifically, a combination of 75% inorganic fertilizer and 25% vermicompost resulted in the highest number of cobs per plant and the heaviest cobs. This means that using both types of nutrients together can help increase the yield of baby corn.
