Environmental attitude drives young consumers in Sri Lanka towards green products
The article explores what influences young consumers in Sri Lanka to buy green products. It looks at factors like how much they care about the environment, what they know about it, and how their friends and family influence them. The researchers found that all three factors - caring about the environment, knowing about it, and social influence - have a positive impact on young consumers' intention to buy green products. Caring about the environment was the most important factor, while social influence was the least important. This study suggests that marketers should focus on these factors to encourage more young consumers in Sri Lanka to buy green products.
