Paper Summary

Speculative side-channel attacks can leak sensitive data during wrong-path execution. Some instructions are safe from speculation, but they can still be manipulated to leak data through a new side-channel called forward speculative interference. This interference makes certain instructions act as transmitters for secret data accessed during speculation, revealing the secret information.
