Household solid waste disposal in Malaysia is a growing issue due to population growth and urbanization. A study looked at how Malaysian households dispose of their waste. They found that most people are aware of recycling programs and segregate their waste at home. However, many are not familiar with how the waste collection system works. This highlights the need for better communication between the government and citizens to improve waste management practices towards zero waste goals.
