The study looked at how effective methods used in environmental impact assessments in Colombia are. They found that while the assessments met the required standards, the methods used were not very effective. Most methods were rated as medium or low in effectiveness. The study suggests that the guidelines for designing and implementing these methods need to be improved to make the assessments more effective.
