Personality traits and trust impact happiness levels in Pakistan
The article explores what makes people in Pakistan happy by studying factors like trust, confidence, personality, health, and income. Researchers collected data from 763 people in different areas of Pakistan and found that traits like extraversion and neuroticism, confidence in the Armed Forces, life satisfaction, and age are linked to happiness. On the other hand, press media and trust in strangers were associated with lower happiness levels. The study suggests that the government should measure the Happiness Index nationally to understand how policies and societal changes affect people's happiness.
