The article discusses the importance of intellectual capital in today's knowledge-based economy. It reviews methods for evaluating intellectual capital and how it affects financial performance and market value of businesses. The study analyzed data from 120 large Russian companies to understand how different factors influence the size of intellectual capital. The researchers also developed a method for assessing human, structural, and customer capital based on disclosed information.
