The study looked at how using mulching and fertigation affects the growth, yield, and quality of French beans. They tested different levels of fertigation and types of mulching in a field experiment. The results showed that using plastic polythene mulching and 100% recommended dose of fertilizer through fertigation led to the best outcomes. This included taller plants, more branches, higher yield, and better nutrient uptake. The beans also had longer shelf life, more moisture, firmer texture, and higher fiber content when mulching and fertigation were combined.
