Distributed databases now accessible with no data movement, transforming information access.
The researchers created a method called VIEWCACHE to access many databases faster. They tested it with ADMS, a special database system from the University of Maryland. VIEWCACHE uses pointers and a smart way to search step-by-step without moving lots of data around. It lets users browse and compare info from different databases easily. After finding what's needed, the pointers help get to the exact data quickly.
