Beat academic procrastination: Manage time, conquer anxiety, succeed in health professions!
The study looked at how test anxiety and time management relate to academic procrastination in health professions students. They found that students who managed their time well were less likely to procrastinate, while those with higher test anxiety tended to procrastinate more. Overall, time management and test anxiety together explained about 32.6% of the variation in academic procrastination. This suggests that interventions focusing on improving time management skills and reducing test anxiety could help students avoid procrastination.
