The article examines economic and financial cycles in Greece using different methods. It finds that medium-term fluctuations are more significant than short-term business cycles for key variables like GDP. Financial cycles in Greece are longer and more volatile than real GDP cycles. The study shows that medium-term cycles in the economy are closely related and follow expected patterns of economic behavior.
