The article introduces a new way to involve people in using their household appliances to help balance the electricity grid when using solar and wind power. This model assumes that people like green energy and want to help make it more reliable. By connecting smart plugs to a blockchain system, consumers can offer their devices to help manage the unpredictability of renewable energy sources. A loyalty program is also suggested to reward people for their participation. A test in Serbia showed that consumers are interested in this idea and willing to take part in a smart grid system.
