A study was done to find the best way to control weeds in blackgram plants in Chhattisgarh. Different treatments were tested, like hand weeding and using herbicides. The best results were seen with two hand weedings at specific times, which gave the highest yield and lowest weed growth. Using certain herbicides also helped reduce weeds and increase seed yield. Overall, controlling weeds in blackgram plants improved the crop's growth and yield compared to letting the weeds grow unchecked.
