The article explores how government funding and cooperation impact innovation in Czech manufacturing firms. By analyzing data from surveys, the researchers found that European subsidies significantly boost innovation performance, while national subsidies have less impact. Cooperation with different partners, especially government and research institutes, plays a crucial role in the innovation process. This study sheds light on the importance of public funding and collaboration in driving innovation in Central and Eastern Europe.
