Building Information Modelling (BIM) is used to improve old shop houses in Malaysia by making them more energy-efficient and comfortable for users. By using BIM software, professionals can simulate 3D models of the buildings to identify ways to enhance their structures. Surveys and simulations show that implementing BIM in construction projects increases efficiency, effectiveness, and overall quality, leading to successful project completion and a better reputation for the construction industry.
