New Study Reveals Breakthrough in Reducing Harmful NOx Emissions
The study looked at ways to reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from industrial processes like waste incineration and power generation. Researchers tested two methods, SNCR and SCR, to see how effective they were at reducing NOx levels. They found that SNCR worked best at 800°C, with a 65% reduction in NOx, while SCR was effective at removing almost all NOx at temperatures between 200-300°C. The study suggests that using a combination of these methods can help maximize NOx reduction while minimizing costs.
