The article introduces new ways to estimate the average of a population using information about another related variable. By applying a technique called transformation of auxiliary variables, the researchers developed more efficient estimators compared to existing methods. Through theoretical analysis, simulations, and real data application, it was found that the new estimators outperformed the traditional ratio estimator in certain conditions.
