Small farmers in developing countries face challenges due to their small land sizes, leading to higher costs and lower profits. To address this, Farmers Producer Organisations (FPOs) are being promoted to help farmers increase scale economies and overcome limitations in production and marketing. This approach aims to improve profitability and efficiency for small landholding farmers.
