The study looked at how farmers in Gonda District, Uttar Pradesh, adopt new sugarcane cultivation practices. Researchers found that most farmers get information from friends, neighbors, and relatives, with radio being another important source. About half of the farmers had a medium level of using this information, while nearly a third had a high level. This shows that farmers in the area are open to learning and implementing improved sugarcane cultivation techniques.
