The researchers tested different plant growth regulators and trace elements on bottle gourd plants to see how they affected fruit yield. They found that spraying Ethrel 200 ppm increased fruit yield significantly, while GA3 75 ppm delayed the growth of female flowers and reduced fruit yield. NAA 300 ppm led to a delay in male flower growth. Overall, spraying Ethrel 200 ppm on bottle gourd plants of cv. GH-22 resulted in the highest fruit yield.
