Climate policy projections in Canada vary widely across energy-economy models.
Energy-economy models in Canada are used to predict the effects of climate policies, but their results vary. A review of 21 models found differences in how they handle technology, economics, and policies. Some models are similar in their approaches, while others differ in representing changes in technology and financial factors. The review suggests that models need to better account for how policies interact. This study helps us understand how different models predict the impacts of climate policies in Canada.
