New Sorghum Genotypes Revolutionize Crop Stability Across Iran's Regions!
The researchers evaluated 10 different types of grain sorghum in seven regions of Iran to find stable, high-yielding varieties. They found that the interaction between the types of sorghum and the environment significantly affected grain yield. Genotypes 5 and 4 had the most positive and negative interactions, respectively, but were unstable. Genotypes 2 and 7 were stable and recommended for all regions. Genotype 7 was the most stable, while genotype 1 was the most unstable. Genotype 6 had the highest grain yield after genotypes 7 and 3.
