A real-time flood early warning system (FEWS) was developed using IoT technology to help minimize losses from disasters like floods. The system, based on Arduino and Blynk, monitors water level, temperature, humidity, and rain conditions. Through a mobile app, users can access real-time data and receive alerts for different flood conditions. The system indicated normal water levels with no signs of flooding in a 30-day observation period. The FEWS can provide four levels of alerts: Normal, Advisory, Watch, and Warning, helping users stay informed and prepared for potential flooding events.
