The article explores how different regions prioritize changes in food systems. By surveying over 600 agri-food professionals and interviewing 33 experts worldwide, the study found that stakeholders in various regions have different views on what needs to change in food systems. Factors like region, organization, and political structure influence these priorities. While there is agreement on key challenges, such as access to healthy food, the urgency of these challenges and the strategies to address them vary by region. This highlights the importance of considering local perspectives when planning food system transformations.
