They found that spraying KNO3 led to more flowers and higher fruit yield, while paclobutrazol increased fruit sweetness. Girdling and prohexadione-Ca also improved fruit yield. Overall, spraying KNO3 resulted in the highest fruit yield and pulp content, while salicylic acid enhanced fruit quality.
