Weed management boosts Indian mustard growth and quality for higher yields
The study looked at different ways to control weeds in Indian mustard plants to see how it affects their growth and quality. They tested ten methods, including using herbicides, mulch, and hand weeding. The results showed that hand weeding at specific times, along with a herbicide and straw mulch, led to taller plants, more branches, and higher oil content and yield. This combination was the most effective in improving the growth and quality of Indian mustard plants compared to other weed management methods tested.
