Optimizing nitrogen and phosphorus levels boosts safflower growth and yield.
The study looked at how different levels of nitrogen and phosphorus affected the growth and yield of safflower plants. They tested nine treatments with varying amounts of nitrogen and phosphorus, finding that higher levels of these nutrients led to increased plant height, more seeds per flower, higher seed and stover yields. The treatment with 50 kg of nitrogen and 60 kg of phosphorus per hectare showed the best results in terms of plant growth and yield.
