Organic fertilizers like vermicompost can improve soil quality and help plants grow better. A study in Ethiopia looked at how vermicompost and nitrogen affected tomato plants. They found that using 2.8 tons of vermicompost and 100 kg of nitrogen per hectare gave the best results, with taller plants, more branches, clusters, fruits, and higher yields. This combination also gave the highest economic return for farmers. So, using organic fertilizers like vermicompost can help farmers grow more tomatoes and make more money.
