The article discusses how supply chain risk management is crucial in dealing with the complexities and uncertainties of global trade. The researchers studied the fresh produce supply chain in Thailand to identify and evaluate different types of risks, such as climate, demand, financial, and operational risks. They interviewed various stakeholders in the supply chain and introduced risk management guidelines to mitigate these risks. The study found that by implementing these guidelines, the current structure of the fresh produce supply chain in Thailand can be improved.
