The researchers studied how different combinations of fertilizers affected the growth and yield of potatoes in West Bengal. They found that using a mix of chemical fertilizer, vermicompost, and biofertilizer resulted in the highest potato growth and yield. This combination led to taller plants, more tubers per plant, and a 55% increase in tuber yield compared to using only chemical fertilizer. The integration of inorganic, organic, and biofertilizers improved the soil conditions, leading to better potato production.
