New Mustard Genotype Promises Higher Yields for Ethiopian Farmers!
Ethiopian Mustard genotypes were studied in Bale, Ethiopia to find stable high-yielding varieties. Different genotypes were tested in two locations over three years. The environment had a big impact on grain yield, with some genotypes showing more stability than others. Genotype G11 stood out as the most stable and high-yielding, with a 25.8% advantage over other genotypes. This suggests G11 could be a promising choice for farmers in the region.
