Boosting Maize Yields: Sulphur and Zinc Unlock Unprecedented Crop Productivity
A field experiment on maize plants showed that using a combination of nitrogen, sulphur, and zinc fertilizers resulted in the best growth and yield. The treatment with 120 kg of nitrogen, 40 kg of sulphur, and 15 kg of zinc per hectare produced the tallest plants, highest dry matter accumulation, and the most grains and yield. This combination also led to increased test weight, number of rows, and overall grain and stover yield.
