Optimal Boron and Sulphur Levels Boost Yellow Mustard Growth and Yield
The researchers studied how different levels of boron and sulphur affected the growth and yield of yellow mustard plants. They tested 9 treatments with varying amounts of these nutrients and found that the best combination for plant height and dry weight was 30 kg/ha of sulphur + 3 kg/ha of boron. For crop growth rate, 30 kg/ha of sulphur + 2 kg/ha of boron was most effective. The highest yields in terms of number of silique/plant, length of silique, test weight, number of seeds/silique, stover yield, and seed yield were achieved with 30 kg/ha of sulphur + 3 kg/ha of boron.
