Water, Not CO2, Drives Global Warming - Upending Climate Change Policies
Water, not carbon dioxide, is the main factor driving global warming on Earth, according to a new study. Researchers found that water, including oceans, clouds, vapor, and rainfall, plays a bigger role in regulating the planet's climate than previously thought. By analyzing the energy absorbed by water and carbon dioxide in the Earth's atmosphere, they discovered that water is up to 200 times more effective at warming the planet than carbon dioxide. This means that, aside from the sun, water is a key driver of the Earth's climate. The study challenges the common belief that carbon dioxide is the primary cause of global warming and emphasizes the significance of water in influencing the Earth's climate system.
