International virtual exchange classes can double the likelihood of students studying abroad. This study followed over 39,000 students at a large American university and found that taking international virtual exchange courses increases the chances of participating in study abroad programs. This innovative approach to international education is becoming more popular, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
