The researchers studied how different color mulches, fertigation levels, and irrigation levels affect the growth and yield of pigeonpea. They found that using white plastic mulch with 100% RDF and 100% ET resulted in the highest seed yield. Drip irrigation at 100% ET also produced significantly higher yields compared to lower irrigation levels. Overall, the combination of white plastic mulch, 100% RDF, and 100% ET showed the best results in terms of seed yield and water use efficiency.
