Northwest China's agriculture is at risk due to climate change. The study shows that extreme weather events like droughts and heat waves are increasing, leading to more pests and weeds in farms. To adapt, farmers need to change how they grow crops, use water more efficiently, and prepare for disasters. New crop varieties that can survive in changing conditions are also needed. By making these changes, agriculture in Northwest China can become more sustainable in the face of climate change.
