A dataset of beach-face slopes for the Australian coastline has been compiled, covering over 13,200 km of sandy coast. The dataset provides estimates of beach-face slopes every 100 meters, with detailed information on confidence levels and sediment compartments. The researchers used geospatial data to create two separate files: one showing slopes along transects and the other showing slopes for individual beaches. Key findings include variations in slope quality and sediment characteristics across different coastal regions in Australia.
