Construction simulation has been researched for decades, but there's a gap between academia and industry in using it for decision-making. To help bridge this gap, a new framework for building simulation models was tested in a case study on piling operations. The study showed that using this framework helped stakeholders communicate better and saved time and effort in modeling activities.
