Scented Rice Yields Soar with Nutrient Boost, Transforming Farmers' Livelihoods
A study on scented rice looked at how different combinations of nutrients and biofertilizers affected grain and straw yield. They tested various doses of NPK, sulfur, zinc, and Azotobacter bacteria. The results showed that the treatment with 125% NPK, sulfur, zinc, and Azotobacter gave the highest grain and straw yield. The grain yield ranged from 25.0 to 45.0 q ha-1, while the straw yield ranged from 35.0 to 68.0 q ha-1. The nutrient content in the grains and straw also varied depending on the treatment, with the best treatment showing higher levels of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, and zinc.
