Morning humidity linked to rise in pea crop insect pests.
The researchers studied how different types of insects that harm pea crops are affected by weather conditions. They found that one type of insect, Aphis craccivora, had more of them when the morning air was more humid. Another type, Acyrthosiphon pisum, also had more insects when the morning air was humid. However, a different insect, H. armigera, did not seem to be affected by temperature or humidity.
