They studied cognitive and interpersonal skills, as well as motor skills and physical strength. The researchers used data from six European countries and the United States. They found that the impact of skill prices on the gender pay gap varies between countries. However, in all countries studied, a significant part of the gender pay gap cannot be explained by changes in skill prices.
