The study looked at how fertilizer subsidies help small farmers in West Java increase their productivity and income. They found that most subsidized fertilizer goes to farmers with less than 2 hectares of land. The price of subsidized fertilizer has not increased much compared to the price of crops, so efforts are needed to make the subsidy more efficient.
