The study looked at how good corporate governance affects the value of property and real estate companies in Indonesia. They found that having a strong board of directors and audit committee can increase a company's value. However, factors like independent board members, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership don't have a significant impact. Stock returns also don't change the relationship between these governance mechanisms and firm value.
