Overconfidence and Herding Influence Investor Decisions in Pontianak City
The study analyzed how overconfidence and herding behavior affect investor decisions in Pontianak City. Researchers surveyed 40 respondents and used statistical tests to analyze the data. The results showed that overconfidence and herding have a significant combined impact on investment decisions. Overconfidence alone influences investor decisions, while herding behavior does not. Overall, 23.8% of investment decisions are influenced by overconfidence and herding, with the remaining 76.2% influenced by other factors not studied.
