New study reveals key thresholds in virus-immune dynamics for effective control.
The study found that in virus-immune dynamics, there are backward and saddle-node bifurcations. These bifurcations occur when the strength of the immune response changes. The saddle knot bifurcation was also analyzed. The points where these bifurcations happen represent the elite control threshold and post-treatment control threshold. Between these points, there is a bi-stable interval where the system can exist in two different states.
