Imam Khomeini Relief Committee Empowers Women Headed Households in Iran
The study looked at how services provided by the Imam Khomeini Relief committee affect the empowerment of women who head households in Delfan city, Iran. They used a mix of methods to gather data, including interviews and surveys. The results showed that women's education, skills, and employment status had a big impact on their empowerment. Women with higher education or technical skills were more empowered. Self-employment, loans, and psychological support also played a role in empowering these women. However, simply giving money without a plan did not help empower them. The study found that the services provided by the committee mainly focused on relieving poverty rather than empowering women.
