The researchers wanted to see if using different amounts of a protective substance could help preserve Mangalitsa pig oocytes. They tested two concentrations of ethylene glycol and different exposure times. They found that higher ethylene glycol concentration and shorter exposure time resulted in better oocyte viability after vitrification.
