Revolutionizing wheat yields with integrated fertilizers boosts crop production.
The researchers conducted an experiment to see how using vermicompost, Azotobacter bacteria, and inorganic fertilizers together would affect wheat growth. They found that using all three together with the recommended amount of fertilizer led to the highest wheat yield. However, using 75% of the recommended fertilizer dose along with vermicompost, Azotobacter, and zinc also produced good results. The combination of NPK fertilizer, vermicompost, zinc, and Azotobacter was the most effective. Overall, the wheat had better nutrient content and uptake when all the components were used together compared to using just the fertilizer alone.
